Does any one have a jettting chart for a 97 SX 700 triple with pipes?
My wife and I are heading to Mcbride next weekend, and we are borrowing buddies sled for her, but he doesn't know what jets are in it, or which ones it needs, he hasn't used it in two years. It's had a couple things done to it, like I mentioned it has been piped (which brand I don't know) and it has been long tracked to a 136 x 2". other than that it is stock. and absolutely mint shape, with no miles on it, so I don't really want to blow it. Some one was trying to tell me that I shouldn't need to jet it, If it was jetted for the mountains, obviously it will be ok and if it were not then it will be jetted for down here, In this case it will be really rich, and won't have the desired performance, but I will not blow the engine. What do you guys recommend

If you have the jets laying around, or if you can get them fairly cheap (not sure on price) you might want to take a few sizes up (richer) and maybe one down and run it for a while and see where its at, then you can run it up or down accordingly, more then likely if it was jetted for the mountains w/ out the pipes it might be ok but it might be a little leaner hard to tell for sure without running it.

Yes that way you should have enough to get it dialed in, you would much rather have it running rich then lean so its best to make sure you can jet it up to make it richer.
