Im sure this question has been asked before but I am going to a new track next year and was wondering what the biggest track you could put on a viper. Non studded. Can't handle stock predator anymore.
I was hoping to go to 1.5 if possible, but what would be the best choice. I do a fair bit of trail riding but like to go off trail a lot more and likes a little water every now and then. So leaning more for off trail track.
If you remove the tunnel and front heat exchanger protectors, you can go all the way up to a 1.75" with the stock 9 tooth drivers.
The 1.5" is a good multi-use trail/off trail track. If you ride mostly off-trail, then the 1.75" works better.
Go with a 1.5 camo. Had one on the srx and it was a good all around track. Would still have it in there except i hated not having studs, so now its a hacksaw.
I have a 1.5 Camoplast Intense on the way. Asked around, and just about everyone recommended it for trail / off trail like you want to do. I'm going 136, but should be good in either length.
same here... considering I ride 50/50, I still want a good hardpack track. Does anyone know how a 1.5" track would run on packed snow? Is it too much track for hard trail conditions?
