Maxx Perf ?

I agree that Maxx Perf. was great to deal with. I was just going to place an order for some of their stuff again. It's so sad to see it/them go away...

Yeah I would like to know who was getting all there inventory. I would still like a set of there aluminum trailing arms for my srx.

Well, I had a local distributor leave 4 messages there, they are not getting returned, so i guess they are done, wanted a wide kit, but we'll have to see what shakes out. Maybe someone will carry on the performance parts aspect of the business?
It's always sad to see the weather do someone in, when it's something they have no control over. This winter is going to hurt a lot of places...

I would think just what I have bought from them in the last few years would have kept them going! LOL - I have to wonder if Pioneer might be picking up thier inventory - they have alot of the same stuff - I noticed they have some control rods that look just like the ones Maxx used to sell - they are in NY also I think

Pioneer Perf was started by Bruce Schrader formerly of Maxximum Perf, He was a major player in product development that is why you see alot of simular carry over stuff at Pioneer. I wonder if his departure had anything to do with it? prob not that has to be at least 3 years ago by now. Bruce is another great guy to deal with.

Coincidently Bruce was also a major player with Bender as well before leaving to start Maxx Perf with Greg Melenbacher back in 94. (sorry if I destroyed you last name Greg)

Sad story, Maxximum Performance had a good thing going and great people to deal with.

S.X. - that is interesting - I have my own business, so I know how ruthless it can get - it will be interesting to see how this plays out, but I along with many others will miss dealing with the Maxx gang!

Sorry to see them go.
Great service and support. The shock servicing was top notch. I had recommended them to lots of people.

Larry MELLENBACHER who has a 2nd much larger business ( LMC) bought the old foster wheeler building in dansville NY, and is starting to build his own conveyor systems, this maybe why he closed maxx. down

BUDDIE OF MINE WORKED AT MAXXIMUM THIS FALL PUTTING THE NEW SLEDS TOGETHER FOR THEM. HE WAS THERE FROM OCT. UNTIL X-MAS. ANOTHER FACTOR HERE WHEN YA SELL JUST SNOWMOBILES HERE IN N.Y. , YOUR TAKING A HUGE RISK. WE HAD PROBLEY THE MILDEST WINTER I EVER SAW ! AND THAT GOING BACK TO 1972. IT NEVER SNOWED. SHURELY NEVER ENOUGH TO RIDE ON. AND MOST WOULD RATHER RIDE RIGHT OUT THEIR GARAGE DOOR. ESPECIALLY WITH THE PRICE OF GAS. SHURE THIS AWFUL SEASON WAS A HUGE FACTOR FOR THEM !! 3:16 (tony)

Being they were 4 miles from my house I hate to see them go, Bad winter here. The reson I bought a yamaha is that they were close. I wonder where there shop sleds are going, They have a few they would try mods on.
