picking up a set of psi tripples for my sxr just wanted to know from anyone who's had them before how they liked them if they worked well or not, if they were really loud, and also what jetting to run at sea level to 600ft. i have reed spacers, one layer removed from the head and a heel clicker clutch kit in the primary. just want to know if there's any changes i need to make to run these besides the jetting and clutching. clutching i can do on my own but would like some info on the jetting side. thanks

I had a set on my big bore sxr...if you need a set chart I may have one laying aroung somewhere...My set up was way to different for you..
they were not quiet...but not the loudest either....the stingers are repackable and if mine werent ceramic coated I would have repacked them..that makes a big difference after they get some miles on them...they are a tight fit...nice quality..heavier than the Haucks , Aaens...but no rattling aound either

yupp! the modblasters? thats what i have let me know if thats what you are going to run. i have jetting specs from mxx perf. and they are great. i will have to look at the paper. i dont know it off the top of my head. i also have vids of what they sound like if your interested. i think mine are loud but people say they are "quiet" pipes. i dont think they are quiet at all. also i run v force 2 with thined head gasket.

the pipes are the stockblasters. not the modblasters. so your specs would be different but i would still like those vids to see how loud yours are if you don't mind.

geez those are pretty loud. hope i can live with them on the trail. and i hope i don't get stopped by the cops. but i guess they have to catch me first hahahaha.

they ore only real loud when you gun it. i love the pipes tho. on a 300 mile day i do get annoyed. but its worth it for the power.

ya just found out they are for sure the stockblasters so i'm sure they're a bit quieter than both vids. now i just need to figure out what jetting to use for those pipes. maybe i can try contacting psi and they can tell me.

maximum performance out of business?

Wow!! I didn't know that, I guess that is why I didn't get a catalog. When did this happen?? Did they just close shop or??

It's a shame if the Maximum Performance has bitten the dust. They sold some great products. Weren't they also a Yamaha dealer (Cohocton Yamaha?).

Their web site is down now and they are no longer on the list of vendors on this site!!

I loved browsing through their catalog. (sniff)
