Thinking of adding rail extensions on my viper and wondering if any of you have tryed "144 tip up rails" from Tracksusa and what you think of them?

i have rode a switchback with those rails and really like them. it cornered as good as my 136" viper. i think its the best way to go!

Picture of the "tip up" 144 "rail extensions + tunnel extension. Looks really great and they are machined so you have to use sliding runners on the whole rails and extensions!

Dont know exatly what you meen but the tip up rails extensions from tracksusa are machined in an angle, like polaris rmk and switchback.

could one take the rails they have and make them "tip up"? just machine the back corner, would that work? thanks!!!
its the back 10" that tip up at a 2* angle i believe. you cant machine that into old rails. there wouldnt be anything left to hold the hifax on with.

well you could cut the back off the rails, grind a little angle to them, weld them on and grind away. but im not sure how well extruded aluminum welds. i know what your thinking and i prefer the look of solid rails too. but unfortunatly unless you swap a polaris skid in, extensions seem to be the only option. if you want to make sure the extensions match the rails get them powdercoated after they are pressed together like i did!
