Im trying to take the skis off of my 2001 SRX. I removed the cotter pin and nut - but the bolt does not want to come through the ski. I've used WD40 and a rubber mallet but it wont go. Am I missing something? ANy ideas?

vice108,
Use a punch and a hammer to drive the bolt out. There shouldn't be anything binding to cause it to stick. Just line 'em up and hit away. Make sure when you replace everything to grease it up; bushing and bolt. It's probably just sticking because it's never been out (rust/corrosion).

Getting bolt out of ski
If you didn't know it or even try it, unscrew the bolt first. it is threaded.

use antisieze on the bolt when you put it back in so you dont have that problem again next time.
