Did late model Mountain Vipers come with a bar riser? Wondering if I could order cables from a late model MV to install a bar riser on a stock trail Viper.

No, they didn't come with a riser.
Yes,they have taller bars.

The 05 mountain Viper throttle cable is a single cable that splits into two. One going to the carb's the other to the oil pump. I put one on my 02 viper with a 4" riser. It does work, however the throttle lever blocks are different. I had to modify/drill my throttle block to make it work. It work's well, but was kind of a PIA to do.
If I was to do it again I would either go with cable extension's or longer cables from Mountain Performance.
 
Doing some digging, the 02 and 03 Viper have the same cables. The 04 went to the two into one. The dealer ordered a 03 Mountain cable, we are going to check out the length. He said if it doesn't work he will return it for me. I will let everyone know what I find out. Just seems like a nice "clean" way to go if it works. I am putting on a 2" power madd block with a pivot adapter, for a total of about 3 3/4." I know a 2" riser without extensions works fine, so if the cable is 2" longer it should work perfect.
 
Just got the cable from the dealer. The 03 Mountain Viper throttle cable is 2" longer than the std Viper cable. I think it will work for my set-up.
