I don't like the look of 'em, but it's totally a subjective thing

They're against the law in Ontario too. It might be worth making a phone call to the local authorities.
They look okay on some sleds, personally I don't like the looks of them on a Viper.

Awsome!, but it sticks out quite a bit, was thinking of moving the headlight itself inwards tot hat the cover is fluch with the black plastic shrouding, but didnt do it. Also, it looks awsome from far away coming at you.
Been stopped by the cops and trail wardens around 20 times in my 3300kms this season and not one said anything about the light cover, even when I asked. Then on one case, the trail warden tells me theyre only illegal at night, so im like, DUH, how can you even ride at night with a light cover. So just take it off at night.
Id get the blue transparent for your sled, the black ones that prevent all light from going through arent as cool looking on some sleds IMO.

DONT GET SOLID BLACK!!!!!!! IN this town nothign is illeagal here.LOL Cops dont give a rats *** about that kinda stuff. you can do 120mph in a 20Kmh zone and not get anything for it! its great!
i got solid black on my viper but you get over Taking them off and on again soo annoying!!
You cant see anylight, the black does not let any of it pass threw. i was riding on a Lake at gonna start a WOT run in the night to get home and i wonderd and wonderd why i coudn't see anything!!! turns out i left my light covers on!! NOT A GOOD IDEA! espcially on a lake. i look at my headlights and found my cause, never used them since!
I think personally, they are a waste of money.

I think they look good. Buddy has red ones on his red viper, that looks sweet.

I like the black tinted ones too, but they are only available as tint and not solid black for the rx1. all viper ones are solid

I did that my first time too. My single sheild is alot larger than your two doubles, but I found it was much better and kept the sheilds in better shape if I tucked them into my ski pants in my toque, so that theyre pressed up against my body and the ski pants, and the toque prevents scratching of the sheild on my belt and stuff. I had scratched the sheild the first time it wa sin my box so I went for a better place to put it.
Just thought id mention that...

I actually had my grandmother sew up a puch for them and I close it up with a few clothes pins
works terrific, made it out of a terry cloth so it is nice and soft
