I was checking over the track on my 96 vmax when i put it on the enclosed trailer for its long rest, and i noticed a "crack, line, small cut" however you wanna word it that is approxametly 1/16th inch deep and 1.5inches long from the stud backer to lug(on the inside of the track) The crack is located between the slide and the outside of the track.
Now for the question, does anyone have any experience fixing this kind of damage so it stay as it is and doesn't become a problem in the future.
I would prefer not to have to pull the track and send it in. or is this nothing to worry about.

Happen to have a pic.??
somtimes if it's just a small cut in the rubber i'll use super glue to glue it
back together so it won't rip any further, super glue holds rubber very well.

I will try and get one sometime in the near future. Its not tooo bad yet i just don't wanna be worring about it next time i go for a ride ya know. Also should pull that stud out not sure if all the torque from the wrench and air ratchet will make it worse or if it something that needs to be done regardless. Thanks i will probably end up using some super glue on there, or gorilla glue unless the gorilla glue is not as good on there.
