On a 2000 SRX what do you guys set your oil cable to,I know the book says 21mm(+- 1) can you go to 23mm like some suggested on the sx700?

I think the stock setting is fine, the srx does not need to use less, it has extremely low oil consumption....
Mr. Sled, I'm getting some pretty rich plug readings on my SRX and I'm confident my jetting is real close. I'm thinking my oil pump could be turned down a little bit, even though I can easily get 225 miles to a quart of oil. My powervalves also like to get rather dirty after 500 miles or so running Klotz oil. Is there a good chance too much oil consumption has something to do with this?
The powervalves seem to get gunked up no matter what oil you use but how are you checking your plugs, you should use new plugs and do a WOT pull and then kill the sled and check plug color....the line on the plug is a more importain for proper jetting but if you are looking at you plugs after just low speed trail rides or putting around the yard , they will be black.
