Well it looks like it is making fuel! Reassembled the 600 twin started up once fuel got to the carbs but fuel is really coming out of the left side carb vent! What can cause this? Thanks 1997 SX 600 twin

Your float is probably stuck open. Try giving the side of the carb a sharp rap to see if it will stop, if that doesn't work take the carbs off. The carb should come off and be checked anyway.

you might've gotten a chunk of dirt right between the needle and seat, which would cause what you explain.
yamaha makes a gnarly carb cleaner that mixes with gas and works better than anything. use this over any other cleaner. soak both parts overnight before reassembly. you will be amazed. found this stuff while working on an exiter. same problem. ordered new needle and seat, soaked old ones , still have the new in stock. hope this helps.
