bought new exhaust ! Why differant? Pics.

Old & busted New & nice why is the O ring on the pipe differant? I got this off of E bay said SX 700 exhaust but there is a differance I have not bolted it in yet but placed it in there & seems to fit right in!

The 97 and 98 sealed with the rings, the 99 and newer sealed with a donut. You need a donut for the new one. Maxdlx

Thank you brother!! My 97 600 uses the 80 cc piston ring so I was suprised to see something different when I got it out of the box!

exactly. The donuts do seal quite a bit better than the rings as well as long as the donut is in good shape. That donut is a little pricey though. Why didn't you just go with trips on that bad boy? ;)!

NA! This is fine! I am getting a "new" skid from 800, He said it is a 04 Viper skid W/ 1.5 miles on it! I am sending him the Money tomorrow! I have to get the 600 back together so I can move the 700 in the garage1 New exhaust, new skid , Need a new clutch & some front shocks! But the 700 does sound great!
