Less than the Viper no doubt.
Id say anywhere up to 160-180kms/tank. You could burn a whole tank if your rodding it, playing around in the deep stuff and only put on like 100kms or less.

my sxr 500 will do about 150-200km on a tank of gas withch is about 2/3 of what the viper gets. and that is if i am driving on the conservative side. if i get agressive it gets worse.

if it's a twin it sucks about 8-9 mpg and will use a lot more oil than a viper too. my viper gets about 200 miles to a quart of oil and 14 - 14.5 mpg.

10 miles per gallon, approx. 100-110 miles per tank. $40 to fill it.. Priceless!

My 1995 Twin piped 600 gets 11-14mpg depending on the temp. It's also very easy on the oil. Over 5000 miles on the engine too.

you guys must ride hard, we have 94-01 VM's and there not bad,
we keep them tuned right up all stock and easy on the thumb,
10-14 no problem at all......

All you boys getting 8-9mpg on your 600 twins, go clean and adjust your carbs cause that mileage is pitiful. I don't even get that poor mileage when it 40*F and riding hard. 10mpg is about as low as I see now that it's properly tuned and to go that low it has to be warm and I'm riding hard. Even my Vmax4 is seeing 10-11mpg.

my carbs are clean and the aftermarket can doesnt make a bit of difference on mine. the fuel milage has stayed about the same. just have to run hard enough to keep up to bros viper and yamahaman on his sxr700. that why im selling my sxr 500 and putting the money i get for it to my new warrior.

We had two 2000 vmax500's, mine did 11mpg, my wife's did 10. After I put a Tempaflow on mine, I did a best of 14mpg during hard twisty trail riding. I'm happy now

I purchased a 95 brand new 500 in the fall of 94...put 3500 miles no it.......easy riding was 14 hard was 9. loved that sled. the 600 becomes a pig with the gyt single I had a 600xt....another great sled....just hard on fuel. It will ride awsome with the m10. my 600 was great. The struts work well when you have a good rear susp. set up

last year I was getting 12-13 mpg and riding pretty hard. With the Temp-a-flow should gain a bit.
