2005 Raptor

Hi everybody! Im new to the forum (to state the obvious) and I had a question concerning a 2005 Raptor (not sure of the engine size). But here's my dilemma. I have an '89 5.0 Mustang that Im selling for 3K..its worth just about that much. I have an offer for trade on a 2005 Raptor that's hardly been touched. Im not sure just yet of which engine size it is, but what Im concerned about is that I really just need the cash right now, and thought trying to sell a practically new raptor might be a bit easier than selling my 5.0 in my area. What I want to know is, even for the more inexpensive Raptor what are the chances of getting 3K out of one those If I were to put in the paper or on ebay? :dunno:

Ill give ya 2800 for it if its blue and your in Michigan. LMAO im just messing with ya. A 2005 raptor will get ya 3g on ebay at least probably more. If its been modded its not always worth more. I forgot they made a raptor 350. Make sure its the big motor raptor. 660 or 700 I dont remember what motor was in the 05. If its a 350 that might be hard to get 3g for.

he still hasnt got back to me yet but he did mention he paid $5100 new....does that help at all for what engine it mightve been?
 
Yes very tough. I see used 03-05 raptors (660), ltz/kfx/dvx 400, and 400EX's for sale up here in alaska for that price all the time and they are much more capable quads.

Also see lots of 04-05 yfz 450 and 450R's for sale for $4000obo.

Wait and sell the car for $$$, or trade for a better quad.

yep, i second ak ryda. real hard to sell a 350 for that. try cleaning the car you have now TOP TO BOTTOM, i mean everything. shampoo carpets and let air out REAL good so it smells newer and be sure its really dry so its not a damp smell. Get some degreasers and such and spray down the engine bay and srcub that up good. careful with powerwashers under their, electric and such doesn't fair well. just pretty much put some elbow grease into it and you'd be surprised how much better it will look. people say don't judge a book by its cover but people do. looks sell
