My truck's too big, gotta sell it!

Came to the conclusion that for 95% of my driving, my Dodge Ram is too big. I can't swing through crowded parking lots without crapping my pants, and soiling the undies of innocent bystanders...so!

2003 Ram 1500
4.7V8(retooled Mercedes engine)
5speed auto
4 full doors, hauls 6 comfortably
All options but leather inside, and it has the Off Road and Tow packages.
Basically, it'll haul your crap, and not beat you up to bad under normal driving.
48,000 miles on it, Amsoil Synth in engine and axles since 29,000. Doesn't need much, but perhaps tires in the fall.

For a TYer, I'm willing to let this go way under blue book. Say...$17,500.
It's been a great truck for us, no complaints. It's just too darn big for the around town zipping I do alla time.

Make me an offer!

I think it's up at 7700lbs. I was told the axles Dodge uses are heavier than the typical Chevy, hell if I know. This one has 3.92 gears with a limited slip in the rear, it tows very well. You hardly know the trailer is there.

On the Mercedes engine thing, my mechanic said that Mercedes has had a 4.5 v8 forever, and Dodge thought it would be an easy fit in a bunch of vehicles, so they stroked it a wee bit, few more changes, bang. 4.7v8. All I know, it's a great motor! It's pretty darn efficient in Jeeps and Durangos, and in a large truck if feels sporty around town.

Coming back from the west side of the state on 55mph back roads, pulling my 2200lb camper, we pulled 16.7mpg. Without the trailer, I'd pull 20+ in the same conditions.
