would like to see some pics of your mtn apex if you have one. also some pics on the hills. i sold my mtn srx little while ago and was looking at the mtn apex if i go back out west again. i think the 2007 looks sweet in blue and black thanks

grape, ill be coming home to ride this winter around december or january for a few weeks. Ill be able to squeeze a few weeks in to come up and ride before i have to go to africa in february for 6 months. My uncle lives in Mason MI so i always stop in and see him. My sleds are kept at my cousins in allenton just south of I-69 before you get to lapeer. I am bringing them up north to ride.i hope to ride with you and ecopter sometime. i cant wait for him to squeEze the trigger on his old srx after what i have done to it LOL

Thanks so much for posting the pics for me. That sled looks so cool. I bet it would work much much better than the 144 mtn srx i had. how does it climb and handle? thats a 2006 right? well when that time comes around i hope i can pick up a used one at a good price. I hope..

Yes, it's a 06, climbing is up to the cajones, handling I think is great, and pic # 3 is Skidooboy's wife, Snobuny, who at 110lb ( my guess) can throw it around no problem.

I'm still here. Just wishing winter was closer than it actually is. Tom, thought of you the other day passing through Waynesville on my way to fly a stint in Kansas. I'll look forward to the day I can squeeze the trigger on my beloved SRX. Chris, I made it to Canada last year, but that was the first time in a few. Probably be going again this year, but haven't set a date yet. I'm working my butt off doing extra shifts to pay for the motion lotion to get there and back since it's a long haul. One can only guess what the price of fuel will be, but it won't stop me from adding another three thousand miles this winter.

Had a 2006 Mtn Apex that I rode for 300 miles before adding the supercharger. I also built a sled for a customer using a 2006 Attak and stretching it to a 151" sled.
2006 Mtn Apex
-Clutching
-Performance Lite Seat
-Performance Lite Exhaust
-Ran stock, Simmons, and Slydog Powderhound Skis
-Pros: Great through the fluff and climbing
-Cons: Tougher to boondock at times
2006 Attak 151"
-Hartman Inc long track kit
-Clutching
-Excell Motorsports
-38" Mountain Ski Stance
-Ran stock mountain and Slydog Powderhound Skis
-Pros: Great through the fluff and boondocking or tight technical riding
-Cons: Was usually 10-20' shorter highmark compared to the 162" Apex Mountain
My personal preference was the long tracked Attak. It just worked better for most of my riding and handled better in the technical riding for myself.
