Clutch ?'s

I have a Stock 97 SX 700 , A member here has an 03 viper primary for sale, will this bolt on & work or should I buy his SRX clutch w/ no rollers, weights etc & build it for my sled ? My clutch has a crack so I need a clutch. Thank you
 
96 and up are the same sheaves on the sleds maybe ever a bit earlier then 96 the only dif between models are usually weights springs and rollers. either one would work if teh srx is cheaper cause it needs weights and stuff get that but other then that there's no dif in the sheaves

I went to the tech pages the belt for mine is 89L & the viper is a 8dn is it just a harder or softer compound? The SRX clutch is $175 & the complete 03 viper he wants $250
 
the belts are dif casue the triples need a hard ruber i think and may be a bit longer but i may be wrong. the 8dn also has the cogs on top to help disipate heat. and im almost 100% positive that if urs a 700 u can use teh 8dn its the new belt for teh tripples. i think it came out in like 99
