BENDER RACING !! 3:16 (tony)

YEP, I REMEBER THAT SLED THE LAST YEAR OF THE GRASSFIRE. THING THAT INPRESSED ME WAS YOU STILL HAD SINGLE PIPE ON IT. I REALLY THINK TO THIS DAY THAT WAS THE BEST VIPER I SEEN. 3:16 (tony)

I think I would wait if I were you to buy anything or sending engines and things to Bender right now, they are going to be making a announcment to the snowmobiling world soon I have been told(dont shoot the messenger.....LOL). If they were doing so great right now how come they were not at haydays??? and Justin hasnt been working since last april on race engines? I hate to see another yamaha aftermarket place go under, this snowmobile bussiness is hard with the lousy winters last few years, and some companys got away from their roots.....Yamaha sleds!!! When you start to outbranch to other brands, polaris, ski doo, etc. :dunno: and you dont really have the research time and development to put into it, your sailing ships that are not sea worthy yet. :dunno:

DON, THATS EXACTLY WHY I WHISH YAMAHA WOULD OF KEEP BUILDING AFEW 2 STROKES. THERE IS NOTHING OUT THERE FOR THE 4 STROKE GUY EXCEPT THE $5000 DOLLAR TURBO. 3:16 (tony)

yeah, but what the 4 strokes make on boost for $5k, the 2 strokes need a $12k RACE motor to make. I would rather a 4 stroke myself. I thought bender was doing good with all the turbo stuff, I guess not. maybe a lot of pissed potential customers with the lack of the reaction? o well I guess. hopefully pioneer doesnt join the ranks

03viperguy, bender is probaly doing the worst on the turbo's there was a lot of unhappy customers.I know of a lot of guys that sold there bender units and went with a different brand.

really? was it because they mounted the turbos in back, making lag a problem? always wondered why they mounted them back there... anyone know if they were laggy because of that? just a theory I had, knowing a bit about turbos. whats the brand to go with that was beating them out?

didnt figure they were. the aftermarket is a small market anyways. of all the sleds I see in a given day, most dont have anymore aftermarket on them than skis and a windshield. just figured if they were doing well with the racers and the people that WERE buying there products, they would be doing as well as the others.

SEEMS TOO ME THE YAMAHA AFTERMARKET BUSINESS WAS STRONGER THAN EVER WHEN THE SRX WAS TOP DOG !! BIG BORES, PORTING, CLUTCH KITS, SUSPENSION KITS, etc. 3:16 (tony)

bender is alive & well. no matter what your business is the market is constantly changing. they have gone thru a restructuring to better service there target market. the new phone # is 716 941 5840.
also, there is no truth to the rumor that justin hasn't built motors since april. he continues to produce some of the best hp & reliability in the industry.

Yamaha sledders I have purchased Bender racing but not the turbo portion of the business. The key people Mike & Heath will run the business from Tim Bender's shop, address 7804 Cole Rd , Colden NY 14033 & we will now manufacture suspensions & 4 stroke silencers at Dyno Port. We have worked on devolping Benders 2 stroke pipes with Tim Bender & Terry Paine & manufactured the pipes for them so you will be getting the same product. 2 yrs ago I purchased a cnc tube bender & we will now manufacture 4 stroke silencers. Justin will continue to work as a consultant & on clutching. Phones were ordered Sept 1st & promised the 8th, not enough lines to pole, will have new #'s working the 25th. In the meantime you can fax orders etc to the old fax # 585-937-6931 hopefully by Monday the 18th. To set the rumors straight on what happened to the leader in Yamaha performance. 1. seasonal business & not enough working capitol to build enough product for the 4 month selling season. 2. Terry purchased Bender's when times were good, example used to sell 100's of sets of triple pipes 3. Moved to a larger facility for manufacture & r &d high overhead. 4.Big investment in machinery to develop products superflow 901,cnc mill for heliexs. Hoping for patience from everybody while we get product built & inventory back in stock.Along with Camoplast tracks & Woody's trail studs we are now going to be an east coast stocking distributor for Woody's race studs. I will post the phone numbers as soon as we get the lines.

thanks Rich Daly

looks that way. good for them, hopefully they can fill orders on stuff with a larger workforce hitting up the workload! we can hope, hate to see anyone fail.
