If the SXR doesnt have pipes, im goin to say the fusion. I ran across a few of them last year and they run pretty good.

the fusion is terrible. absolutely terrible. from what i'm told they need to be worked a little to get up to speed. something with removin some stuff for more air and clutching, jetting, etc. but if he hasn't done anything, you shouldn't have to much trouble. you'd be better off of course with a srx tho...
airbox mods and a pipe on the Liberty is needed to wake them up. They are choked out to meet emissions. I would say the sxr, but I love the underdog!

when people say they are slow they mean for a 900, but they do and can run pretty quick. a viper probably50/50, srx yes, against an sxr i would say fusion anyday unless pipes and clutched well. just my 02.

You really think it will run with a piped viper?I always thought a piped viper done up right was faster than an srx..

no not a piped viper, a piped viper should beat it.

he who says a fusion is terrible, has not seen a good running one.
they are not FAST for a 900, but to beat a SXR 700 I think they would fairly easily
atleast the couple that ran around here in our group. A piped Viper or SRX NO!

im with snakebit
i ran against one 2 years ago. i didnt hook up well off the start and that thing stood straight up and down and took off. i caught him in mid range then at about 115-120 he kept going.
i have a 98 sx, piped, clutched, reeds and some other stuff. i would be surprised fi a piped vip or srx beat one. they are fast...

Ive had a few fusions right on the side of my srx. They are fast if you get a good running one!
Don't let people tell you they are turds even though they look like em.

Dont even try it. A Sxr is only good for about 105-110 HP. Im sure that the fusion is in or near 140 HP. I have a 00 SXR and have all kinds of problems with 600 revs and fusions.
