not positive about what will beat an apex, but I know the 1000 doo seems to be hit or miss. they need to be set up right from what I have heard. that new cat 1000 might be a contender as well

I will tell you from my past experience racing both that the doo is no slotch at all. As many of you saw the video of me racing that apex, I was pretty far ahead of him. I have raced two mach'z before. One was really not all that much, about the same performance as the apex I raced. The other one I couldn't beat from a dead stop. I finally raced him from a roll and took him on the top end. They were shocked to say the least. I would say that the doo will take the apex but not by much, the doo's just accelerate so quickly out of the hole it is incredible. Maybe they were a fluke but I have raced many F7's and they did not take off half as quickly as these guys did. Fastest sled I have ever raced besides our RX1 on gas, is our Vmax 4 800 with PSI pipes. Only sled that officially beat me last year without a problem!
