hyvo? non hyvo?

newb question but what is the difference between hyvo and non hyvo gears? how can you tell the difference. thanks.

hyvo are stronger, longer lasting and more efficient. you can tell the gears by the lower part of the gear is wider and tooth is straighter cut. the chain links have a curve cut in them that you can see from the side. they absolutely wont interchange with each other.
