has anybody seen or heard any phazers racing yet, just wondering if they have to make a 340 class again. just kiddin, would like one myself. are they gonna be raced at haydays?

i know that there was 2 phazers at martin michigan on the tar a couple of weeks ago. jim jones that works for pat hauck raced woody's phazer in the bracket races and finished 5th with it and someone else had 1 there and finished in around 10th out of 65 or 70 sleds. jim said from 0 to 55 or 60 it pulled out of the hole hard and fast. he was inpressed with the phazer.

should also say if you do not know on bracket racing he was racing apex's and all other name brand sleds with lots of hp. in bracket racing they get to start sooner if it is a slower sled.

The Phazer is not placed in a class for grass dragging, so there won't be any racing. You'll probably see Jimmy Blaze over on the free style track though!

Do they have a 500 class? If so, Id bet you would see them in that.
I know that for snocross they made a special "500" class that would allow the Phazer to compete.

Octane the nytro and the vetor race in the 500 class and the apex is in the 600 class. There's now way it would compete with 440 or 500's

They have a 500 class, but as pro116 said, that's where the Vector & Nytro run at. At this time the Phazer is not placed in any class for grass or ice racing.

I think the Phazer could hold its own in the 500 class with the Nytro and Vector. Its got about 40 less hp, but its about 80 pounds lighter. The Nytro/Vector would be faster down the straights, but I think the Phazer would leave them in the dust over the bumps and around the corners.

racing

octane some of the 440's are 430lbs and near 110hp now there's absolutley no way possible they can compete drag racing.Aspahlt there running low 12 seconds and vector's can run low 11seconds that a huge difference.

theres no way the phazer has any chance. but this brings me to another question me and the guys have going on. 2 Stroke versus 4 no turbos i say two strokes get them every time. I cant confirm this with sleds because ive never raced a 700cc 4 stroke against my xt. Bikes on the other hand, my 87 rz 350 will do 12.3 in the quarter and if you know anyone with a four stroker 350 that will do that i will keep quiet.
Pat

Well just to let you guys know, there will be a Phazer 500 4-stroke running in M.I.R.A. this winter. He will be in Smi-Pro 500 Stock Class. He's a Junior Racer, with 2yr's. racing in Junior 600 Fan Class. He races a Phazer 500 2-stroke in this class. This year will be his 3rd. yr.. He'll still race the 2-stroke in the Fan 600 Class and jump up in Smi-Pro 500 Class with the 4-stroke. The hood is a SX hood from Sno-Stuff, but the rest is a Phazer 500 Fan. ;)!
