Looking for info on long tracking one of our kids phazers. Needs a new track and thought this would be the time to do it. Going to haydays and going to come home with a track and hopefully some other goodies. If I go to a 121 do I have to relocate the skid and if so has anybody have any input. !36 all I should need is rail extensions and tunnel ext kit right. Hope I can get some info before this weekend. Thanks Mike
90 phazer II should be a 121 from the factory. I rode the snot out of a 91 136 for a few years. With the stock drivers a 1.25" track fits nicely once it's all together, but is a little tight during the install. Anything taller than that would realistically require a change to smaller drivers.
Rail and tunnel extension would do the trick. Might want to gear it down a touch too if you go longer and deeper.

I think the 90 Phazer might have been as 116" track?
I take that back, its a 121" X 15"

Like Ryan B said the 90 was a 121". 91's 136" had the same skid with factory extensions. My 136 is 1 1/8", the 1.25 would deffinately be it without a driver change. Dropping a tooth or so on the gears would be wise.

I was actually thinking of doing this a while back, but never found a decent phazer for a decent price to do it to. I always figured I would go with the factory parts. go on port parts and you can get all the factory parts from them on the microfiche. the mtn phazer is just extentions on the rails and tunnel. good luck and post pics!

Ok, I am not technical my any stretch: What exactly do I need to do the extension; rail extensions, entire new skid, what else.
I have two stock Phazers ('91 and '96): my brother and I have taken to doing a lot of backwoods off-trail riding with a group in the U.P. The Phazers are perfect as they are very light and nimble. However, they only have the 121 tracks. these sleds are virtually mint and have low low low miles; which makes it worth it in my opinion ('91 has maybe 3,000 and the '95 has maybe 1,500 miles-found this one two seasons ago in a garage with less than 100 miles on it).
Thoughts?

I think all you need is rail extensions for the current skid, tunnel extension, and a new track. the new track being the most cost prohibitive. shouldnt be bad at all
