As some of you know I am the one always postin newb questions and have learned a lot of things since joining this web sight. I bought my first sled this year and am ready to go. I was looking at some winter gear and I think I have narrowed it down to either yamaha gear or FXR Gear. I think I like the FXR gear so far. I know there have been postings about gear here before so I dont mean to clog up the air ways but, I am looking to get fully outfitted. I love the FXR helmets and some of there styles. So I am 85% sure that is my choice. Just wanted some input from my friends here at ty on there experience with FXR VS YAMAHA GEAR. And if anyone knows someone that has reasonable prices that I can go throu, besides my local dealer.I will order on line. Thank you

i have been running fxr layering pull overs, coats and pants for several years. love them. just gotta layer for the temp of the day. i like their fit, and stylings as well. i havent bought new in two years as i havent like the color combos. but they do hold up to years of riding. ski
Thanks I think i may go with them. Do you think the Escape package should be warm enough. I like the style

FXR gear is great. Ive got a Yamaha jacket that was made by FXR and it is by far the most comfortable jacket Ive ever owned.

Just in case you didn't know, all of the Team Yamaha coats and bibs in the Yamaha catalog are made by FXR, some of the others are made by Reima/Scott. I have a Team race jacket with Team race pants, and I think the are great. I've had Reima in the past and prefer my FXR clothing. Check out the listings in ebay motors, I found my pants for 60 bucks new last year.
Thanks. I knew some were made by FXR but not all yammi stuff. I really like the team bib pant, but the FXR Escape pant is a lot cheaper. I will check out ebay as well thanks for the info. I think I am sold on the FXR helmet looks tight.
