What are your guys thoughts on the proactive CK out of a nytro?
I think its 13lb lighter then the pro action and the W arm is tubular steel with a larger cross sectional area then the Proactions square W arm.

I rode an 07 RTX back in March with the ProActive , I pretty well slammed it through some nasty wooped out trails and corners and loved every minute! If you can get one at a reasonable price, jump on it!
Sounds good, just a little intimidated with the install of any other skid but I shoudl be able to figure it out.
If your installing it on your RX 1ton I would think transfering the mounting locations would be pretty easy. I installed a Cat skid on my Viper S.coming from a different chasis itwas a little tricky but I happen to have my Cat sno pro at the time to compare mounting locations.Just make sure you can measure the points from a Nytro and you should be good.
Good luck

I demo rode a Vector 2 years ago and loved the ride quality. In my opinion it rode better than the EDGE rear suspension my '01 XC has.
The trails were pretty bumpy and the Vector rode much better than my XC and the '05 Fusion I rode on the same day. It soaked up the bumps well and didnt have so much rebound that it popped you up off the seat like every Polaris Ive ever ridden does.

I like my fathers vector, I think it rides really nice and is easy to "preload" for nice air on bumps etc

Sno-Xr,
Is there any chance you would have the dimensions for where to mount the skid into a Pro-action sled?? I've got a buddy that has a SRX and I'm trying to convince him to throw a Poo or Cat skid under it instead of a Viper skid because I know he'd like it much better, but I think he's kinda reluctant because it won't mount right up like a Viper skid would.

I put this in the Tech faq section. These diminsions were for my Viper, for a SRX I would consider long travelling the front to keep the geometry as best possible.

BTW, its 10 times better than the viper skid for agressive riding.(Bump riding)

I wish I could've kept it, but I wanted something newer, lighter and with a better suspension. It just didn't make sense to me to throw alot of money into a '98 model sled. As much money as I see SRX's going for on here and E-bay I tend to think I gave mine away.
