Odd question about old Phazer rear suspension

I recently aquired a free '85 Phazer, which will be a project/testbed/playtoy/boondocker/conversation piece. I want to go 136", but I'd like to do it as easily as possible. Will the 136" rails from a later model Phazer ST, Exciter ST, or maybe even V-Max ST fit on my 116" (correct?) skid? One of my current rails is cracked, so some kind of extensions won't help me. I'd like to find a whole ST skid, but that's harder than it sounds. I'm prepared to swap in another 136" skid, even another brand, but the whole mounting and getting it right thing has me worried.

I'm also trying to find some 7-tooth drivers, if anyone knows of anyone that sells them.

Find a set of 121" (90-97) Phazer/Venture rails and extensions like the Phazer Mountain Lites and Venture TR used ! I believe Your suspension arms and shocks will bolt right on ?

I believe you can download the Expert suspension instalation manual. it lists the various widths inside the tunnels of sleds. measure everything from the driveshaft of the donor. If you get a narrower suspension use some spacer/reinforcment plates.

I am looking to do the the same thing; except with a '96 and '91 Phazer II; I hope to pick up a set of rail extensions. Shoudl be able to just buty the replacement 121 rails froma later Phazer and the extensions (tunnel and rail) and bolt and go-the springs and shcosk shoudl worl; although I am using the opporuntity to swap in a Ryde FX gas shock for the stocker and probably go OEM springs.

F.Y.I. The 94-96 Vmax's have a wider (~1.5") tunnel than the Phazer/Exciter/Vmax540.

Sounds easier than the other way around. I should just be able to cut down the cross shafts on the arms. But thanks for the info, it would have been a surprise to me.
