helix & secondary setup ??
Hi, I just recently bought a 49/43 helix for my 1995 vmax 4 800, and would like to set the secondary twist at 1-9 @ 100 degrees, I have never installed a helix before, and do not understand fully. Here is what I do understand... the spring is in holle 1 on secondary and hole 9 on helix! correct? Now the 100 degree twist? do I need a degree wheel, or is this 1/4 turn? 1/2 turn? is this a one man job and can I scew anything up???? sorry for the dumb questions but I have never really done any of my own clutching!!!! thanks in advance !

After you have the spring linrd up in the holes just twist the helix clockwise till the studs on the secondary clutch & helix holes line up. Just push the helix onto the studs & tighten the nuts.
why do you need it at 100 degrees? thats a pretty tight wrap

Right now I have a hauck blue sping and 8bu-00 in the primary with stock helix and spring in the secondary, I am running bender quads with mild trail port and 3mm bored carbs... this clutching setup was given out by YAMMIEGOD 3:16 (Tony) over at vmax 4.com, so I figure I would give it a shot over the 43/35 helix setup recommended by bender racing!
