OK …
Last year at the end of the season the idle would climb up when I came to a stop and let off the throttle
. It would climb high enough to engage the clutch
at times, what is the problem… I am thinking this is a carb issue but not sure that just a good cleaning will fix it.
What are everyone’s thoughts?

TORS issue maybe?
If the engine seems to run properly i might epect maybe a weak primary sping?

carb issue, clean and adjust
Thanks for the replies.
Now clean I can do, when you say adjust do you mean set the float heights and fuel screw?

Open up the fuel screw a little on the bottom. It's lean on the pilot end. Burping your choke while it's idling high will bring it down at the time, but the better solution is to open that fuel screw up some.
Yep 1/4 turn more on the fuel screw fixed mine.

but before you open up the fuel screws make sure that the carbs are clean, because a partially plugged pilot jet has the same effect

Good call holic, dirty pilots will give the same "lean" effect.
