A buddy of mine recently purchased a Mountain Phazer and he is wondering what or if any performance products are available for it, chip upgrades, pipes, etc.

you'd probably do better on the 4 stroke side, but heres my $.02;
I doubt Yamaha left a lot of easy to get horsepower on the table with this engine. chips, pipes and other little bolt-ons aren't worth it. you'd end up lots of money spent, and no noticable power gains. if your serious about adding power, get a turbo. turbos are more efficient than superchargers, and can be set up to alter boost for elevation changes.

Wait a month after the white stuff is on the ground..I am sure then, lots of the new owners will find little ways to tweak out more performance on the new Phazers....

I agree with aSRX600guy. 80 hp out of a 500 4-stroke twin is pretty impressive. I doubt they left much on the table.
Id start with a clutch kit. If you want more, then go to a turbo. If you still want more, then go to NOS.

there are already turbo kits being made for the phazer, mc express is one of them, also nitrous kits are in development too
