I want to put a set on my SRX and I believe it will be the PowerMadd/Rox style in blue and silver but I would like to know just how much of a difference in wind deflection they really make.I'm not looking for protection from branches and such as I try to stay away from really tight trails where one might encounter those objects.I just want a bit more wind protection on those really cold days and nights to give the handwarmers all the help I can.
I'll probably put them on anyway for the asthetics factor but it would'nt hurt if there was somewhat of a benefit too.

Who'se got the best price/selection on the Powermadd gaurds with mounts?I have delt with Rich before and would lean towards him but am looking for any other options, preferably from this site.

If you have a riser and your bars are above the protection from your windshield, then i would say definetly you need them. I've got a set and there is a noticable difference in your grip warmer effictiveness.

If your handwarmers come unplugged your hands will freeze into a block of ice! I have handgaurds and when my handwarmers came unplugged last year my fingers were numb for a week! Couldnt imagine if i didnt have them on there, and i have damn good gloves too!

Id say there worth it, if your running your stock windshield on your srx definatly get them I have 4.5" of riser on my srx with the low windy.
