Last year I did several updates to my old 94 VMAX. After 4300 miles I broke a ring and smoked the cylinder. After rebuild I noticed I had a small pin hole in the pipe so I picked up a 96 GYT pipe from a XT. Went to adjust carbs and had a bad fuel screw so I bought and installed 96 carbs. Secondary clutch was worn so I did the newer 96 style clutch conversion. Well now that everything is back together it needs so fine tuning. It runs OK but not like it should. I also installed a 2000 Venture skid which needs some adjustment. First time with it out I found out shocks were toast. I installed new shocks then run out of snow. I am looking for someone to help me get everything running like the Yami should. This year was gonna be the year for the new sled but many layoffs and surgery for a torn tendon in my right elbow Took a major hit in my funds. That alone is costing me a loss of 300 a week. Needless to say a new sled will have to wait. Sled is in Irons in Lake county MI 49644 I live in Wyandotte MI 48192. I can have sled at either area. If someone can help me or recommend someone that would be awesome.

I don't consider myself an expert but I do know my way around a sled....if you need help let me know. I'm on the south side of Gaylord.

peacock motorsports just north of baldwin mi on the right when heading north on m37. good place, give them a shout.

My family has been buying from them for over 20 years. Not sure on how much they will charge. May be pretty expensive since I've changed to boyeson reeds and the 1996 parts. I beleive there was a slight diff from 1994-1996 I know the carbs are a little different. I should give them a shout. Hopefully that area will get some good snow this year. We used to go up between christmas and new years and have snow up to my balls. Man that was nice.

With all the Mods I have done it seems to run really rich, it is a pig on oil and gas. I can install parts and get things kinda OK but when it comes to fine tuning I do not have the skills. I did the newer style secondary clutch conversion and I think it is all set. I aligned everything and engagement speed seems OK. Primary could use a overhaul with new weights. Also I updated the skid to a 2000 Venture skid and haven't been able to test it. First time out I found out the hard way that I had a bad shock. I installed new shock and ran out of snow. If you want to check things out I can try to get it down here. You can call me on my cell at 734-934-3831 my name is Mike.
