Buying an SXR!!

Hey everyone, I just went to a local dealership today and had my mind set on a 98 SRX 600..but quickly changed my mind when i saw an 02 SXR 600 with 1,000 miles going for $3500...I got myself a new sled...what do you guys think of this sled? How does it compare to a SRX in ditchbangin, powder, and just speed?

Sorry, Two totally different sleds. SXR better overall ride (great dichbanger, rough trail sled) Low miles(1000) good deal! SRX 600 flat out hauls for a 600! corners on rails, dominating speed easy top end around 110MPH! Great gas milage. Tripple tripple sound! SXR top speed around 90MPH. Really its what you want for conditions you plan on riding! Good luck and enjoy!!! Be safe and ride sober!

thanks blue bullet! im planning on saving up my pennies and maybe triple piping it next year? can you do that to a SXR 600? It has reverse :/

It will be little trickier with reverse as many pipe makers openly state that it won't work with reverse due to clearance.You can definetely pipe that model though, just about every speed shop has made'em at one time or another for 6-7 sx motors.Maybe somebody will chime in here about what make will work with reverse later, Josh

some pipes work with reverse I'm not shure which companies off hand.

Bender pipes will work.

Slp says their pipes won't work, but I have them on mine without any issue at all.

blah just got home from teh grass drags...yammies lost all day long ...it was horrible. The finals consisted of a AC and a Ski-doo..ew..saw a few SRX's though and it made me happy to see draggers ridin blue.
