Hi!
As you can see, this is a picture of two 70L chains. The left one is from my old 500. And the right one came with the gears i bought (from a 700).
So the question will be, which one is the strongest one?

They are just as strong, but the one on the right has less rolling resistance

Right side chain is stronger. The right chain is a HYVO chain for higher HP apps. it is used in srx's, vipers, rx-1's and now apex's. The chain on the left in non HYVO will not work with HYVO gears. Not 100% sure but I dont think you can upgrade just the chain, if you go HYVO chain you need HYVO gears. You definatly cannot use standard chains (the left chain) with HYVO gears.

I thought that the tops of the links in a HYVO had a curve to them, those look flat.
They both may just be 13 plate chains with a different plate configurations.
