Hi,
I seen that alot of guys here have done the head gasket mod and removed one layer, ...BUT has anyone removed two layers? Have there been any problems? Hope much more HP will I get per gasket removed? I know I have to run high octane gas (i.e. the highest octane at gas stations), but I do that now anyways.
I was thinking of removing two layers, but I don't want to blow my motor in a couple of seasons. I want to keep this sled for a few years.
Cheers.

you need to measure the squish to see if you got the room to run just 1 layer or if you have to run 2 or 3. my viper was more than safe with just 1 layer when i measured my squish. the difference is really noticeable mostly alot more throttle response. if you dont know how to measure the squish Mr.viper700 has a really good post that explains it really well.
