I need some opinions on this sled or if anyone is interested in it let me know also. He might also part it out.
95 Yamaha VMax ST Longtrack. He said it has a tear in the seat but sounds like everything else is good but 1 thing. He said it needs 2 pistons, cylinders are just okay. It has 3366 miles on it. He was thinking $700
Does this sound like a high price?
Thanks,
Doug

Those cylinders are hard to come by and I could be wrong but they cannot sleeve them because of the nikasil lined cylinder or it costs a kidney.

when I changed the pistons in my 95, I didn't need to replace the cylinders but I looked into having them sleeved. They can sleeve them but you loose the nicasil as they just put regular sleeves in. You can have them borred out and re-nicasiled but then you might as well get a used set of cylenders.
