HOw do I make my avatar clearer after shrinking it down?

I had that same issue. It was easiest to take several pictures from different distances and pixel resolution and shrink and crop until it looks right (if you are working with a digital camera).

I figured out how to get a nice clear pic by resizing with imageshack.com now Ive made a slide show but am having trouble posting it
The software and format you are using is likely causing the cloudiness. Resize just once from the original in any Photo Editor software, use the appropriate format to save it, and you should be good to go.

Thanks guys got it figured out now but how do I do do a slide show like some of the guys have on here?
