Who has used this set up and how well does it work, and is it worth the $$? Thanks, T
It did give my sled 3 mph extra.

This is also a very debatable topic. Some people think that it doesn't work at all and other people get a nice little gain out of it. We actually sell our own overdrive kit for $100 plus shipping. We run it on all of our sleds and we do notice a good size gain out of it, Around 2-3 MPH on top. My belts normally last anywhere from 1000-1500 miles with this on so I don't personally think it increases belt wear. However, the only way to get an effective gain out of this is to machine the inside of your secondary helix to allow for the full shift. We also offer this service. Like I said, somepeople will chime in and say it is junk, I disagree, it does help performance.

Yes, we run our overdrive sheeve on all of our sleds including the viper. On average we see a 2-3 mph gain.

If I am reading it correctly, It says "vincent" as in Chris Vincent and he used to race for yamaha.
