I have the opportunity to buy an 162 attack 20 for my mm for $125. Let me know what you guys think of them. I'm largely going to use the sled for powder and hills.

One of my ridding buddies had AC King Cat with an attack 20, 162" on it. It has to be one of, if not the best track for powder snow use. While all of the other sleds and my MM700 are trenching while climbing in powder with our Camo Challengers, the attack 20 is sinking maybe 4 to 5 inches. Those bent lugs pack the snow rather than dig. The other side to A20 is that it is terrible on packed snow. It spins and has little traction. I don't know what mods you have done to your MM, but you will probably have clearance problems with the 2 1/4 lugs if you are stock. Also a stock MM700 will problably not spin a 162" too well. Just my .02

Well, it's got quite a bit done to it including a CMV tunnel, right now I have a 2 1/4 track on it with lots for room to spare. Also, plenty of engine mods to boot so I don't thik power will be an issue. I'm just trying to decide if it'll be an effective track to the terain here in Utah I like to ride.

Never had a chance to ride one, but from looking at the mountain cats on the dealer floor, they do look like they would be really slippery on any hardpack snow, but be good only in powder. When I first seen the track, I thought they had it on backwards, thinking the lugs should bite into the snow, rather than away. Kind of like the studs that are angled, was my way of thinking.

If there is anychance you wont be a total powder runner, and like spring riding or whatever, then dont get that track. And crossing water must be a joke with that track, lol

You can run them either direction. They consider the stock position a powder position and the reverse is a hill climb position. I've read so many differing oppinions I don't know what to do.

Look at it this way, if the track was really that good they wouldn't offer the Challanger as an option and I'm not sure they offer the A20 at all this year.

I ride with a 162 900 cat with a A20 once or twice a year. He can WAY out climb me and floats better on powder (I have a 151). Other than that, I eat him for lunch drag racing, stopping, trails, packed snow hill climbing and etc, etc.
He gets high mark and then has his head handed to him on a plater the rest of the day by me and every one else.

haha, well, I got it for $100 so I think I'll give it a shot. if anything I can turn around and sell it for what I got it for.

I think I'll run it backwards for the first part of the season and switch to my finger track for the spring conditions. That seems like a good idea since my finger track is useless in the first of the year.

Be careful if you run the track backwards (hill climb position) if it is a used track. I understand that an A20 that has been run in the stock position for a several miles and then run backwards has been know to tear off the lugs.
