Anyone want to clean my carbs in chicago?

Any of you trusty guys on here want to thelp me clean my carbs. I never have done this before and don't feel like paying 300 plus buck to get er done by a dealer. I can buy beer!
 
Wow i wished I lived by 2000 srx Good Deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a 97 vamx and I would guess they have never been cleaned, but I dont think I will tackle that task.

I am actually in Palatine. Sleds are in Twin Lakes Wi currently though. I need both my 99 and 2001 done. Looks like I will be headed to Gurnee to CB performance. Great deal!
 
If you come over with the sleds one day NEXT WEEK or so I will HELP YOU and show you how to clean your carbs.. i live by Midway airport in Chicago.. I dont drink beer,,,but,,,,I do like Coca cola in the glass bottles from MEXICO!!!! (they sell them here in Chicago) Gary Oles nosboy 312-617-0303 (cell)

WHAT!? You DON'T drink beer!? WOW!! Neither do I... :p :)
 
Last time I drank a BUNCH of beer i got in a BUNCH of trouble.. it took 6 YEARS to pay it off FINANCIALLY!!!! Its been ELEVEN years since I drank ALCOHOL and I don't miss it a bit!!! I haven't threw up on myself, wound up in JAIL or woke up with any WOMEN (that I couldn't tell you their names) ever since!!!! I still act like an IDION occasionally,,,,, but,,,,, it's not "alcohol related"... gary Oles nosboy
 
CB Performance has done a ton of work for me, and I live in the SW burbs of Chicago; they are worth the drive!

They have:

1) Cleaned my power valves and put their front end kit on my SRX
2) Clutched my SRX and installed a Ripsaw and studs on it
3) Rebuilt a blown Phazer motor
4) Are curretnly long-tracking a Phazer for me
5) Are currently swapping out a track on a Phazer for me
6) Will be doing a ton more work for me . . .

CB is great; I found them on this site. Great guys to deal with; fair and do GREAT work!

Never had the Mex Coke; heard it is sweeter though.

The way I look at it is similar to you... I have to many nice things to give up by doing stupid stuff, and Horsepower costs money and I dont have enough $$ to pay for the alcohol that doesn't belong in a motor. :) Tracy
 
:rofl: drinking beer is MANDATORY here in wisco when attempting any sort of mechanical involvment,... including keyboard surfing.
strap on your latex gloves, grab a beer, and clean those carbs you bear worshipping wussy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey,...If you want to trailer your sled just 15 miles north of the cheddar curtain I'd be happy to help you learn how to clean your carbs.
I'll even throw in a belt change seminar.
we can drink soda/beer look at MY sleds, talk Yammies/snowmobileing and if you come on Sunday we can switch back and forth between the BEARS and PACKERS games :wel:
