anyone got problem of top speed with a predator 1.0to1.1/4 track it seem heavy to run

yup!i had an ice claw and lost 10 mph on top end, replaced it with a hacksaw
1'' and all is back to normal, also the hacksaw gives a much better bite .

Kinda confused here, the ice claw performs very well when it comes to top speed runs, just as well as the hacksaw top speed wise. Make sure to test the tracks in equal conditions. As for the Predator losing topspeed, it will perform equally to the hacksaw in top speed runs. The predator is a great all around track and highly recommended from everyone.

well something not going good for me cause i got no more top speed with that predator 1.0to 1.1/4 track so ill think ill switch that track for some other things.. do u know what is a good weight for a track on srx 700

I dont understand ? do you have a 1 inch predator or a 1.1/4 inch track ? Of course a one inch track will be a little faster than a 1.1/4 inch track.

mmm

they sell me the track and they told me it was a 1 inches to 1 1/4 inch track does they have parts number on those track ill go check if they have

I think they sold you a 1 1/4 inch track , and that could explain the loss in speed , also it might be rubbing a litlle in the tunnel.

mmm

i see it last year on camoplast site but i can't find it no more it was really haft 1 inch and haft 1 1/4 weird :o|

The 9818 which is the 1.25in Predator clipped every third window weighs 35 pounds. Have the box sitting in my room and it says right on it.

Your trying to figure out if you have a 1in or 1.25 Predator track right????? If so just measure the lug weight. Models numbers, 1in is 9830 clipped every third and the 1.25 is 9818 clipped every third. If its a 1.25in track its prolly rubbering on the heat exchangers protectors and will rubber on your tunnel protectors also when the suspension does its thing. I removed the tunnel and front heat exchanger protectors on my Viper so it wont rub, but I'm not running studs either.
