Well last night someone decided to cut the locks on our snowmobile trailer and drive away with the whole damn thing. Nothing too special to set the trailer off from the rest, buts its an R&R enclosed and has a high back half so the 2-up we used to have would fit in it. My dads sled is an 02 Arctic Cat z570(purple but looks more like a copper color)completely stock and probably only 200 or 300 miles on that. Mine sled isn't real common and if you saw it after my description you would know for sure its mine...but its an 01 Sno-Pro built by Black Magic Racing. 711cc Invader engine. Amsoil sticker on the snow flap and about 15 fox stickers in various places from the previous owner. Avenger II Egt gauge and a little over 1000 miles. It has the 440 sno pro stickers on the hood and had a 5" handlebar riser and green Acerbis hand guards. Just trying to post this on as many forums as i can to get the word out cuz if we don't find them were gonna lose our asses on insurance. But thanks for any help and just spread the word and keep an eye out. Thanks

Sorry to hear that VMJ. I'll e-mail the link to some friends down in midland....I hope they turn up.

Tom

Sorry......Bummer :( Did you ever wonder how you hide something like this from the police ? Imagine driving down the highway.... wouldn't you stick out like a sore thumb ? Would not your neighbors ask questions ? How could you resale a trailer especially with a Vin # ?

Same thing happened to me several years ago. Now the sled is out of sight ( out of mind ) of anyone and I take a tire off the trailer.
Bunch of bums.

you don't have to just take what the insurance company is offering, if your stuff was worth more than they say, fight 'em

Sorry to hear of your loss. As a victim of sled theft my self I know what your going thru.

First thing I can recommend is take copies of your pictures and vin numbers down to your local police station. It might go without saying but the effort I made in the day after my Exciter was stolen helped recover it 8 months later.

Also it is times like this you get to see how your insurance company is really going to treat you.

If you can please post pic's. I will send the link out to all snowmobilers i know, and as well as your thread. thanks that is bull @#$%@#$%#
