I have a chance to get a set of maxx transfer rods for my 98 700 XTC-P.
Are they really worth the money?
I mostly run the trails in Ontario with a bit of powerline powder riding.
Thanks

Unsure if you'd notice them in the powder...but on the trails...Yeah...fer sure...
basically its gunna allow you to change yer settings on the fly...but depending on
conditions..you'll have the option to change accordingly with a flip of the wrist...
Curious...I'm from Ontario aswell...did you find these through another Canadian source...I've been looking for a pair myself...
cheers and good luck

Sled Pro Distributing in Newmarket, Ontario was selling them. I don't know if he still has stock or if he's able to get more.

they are an awesome add on, really help a ton with weight transfer. However, you do not want to run them at full transfer when you are riding moguls because it puts a LOT more stress on your W-arm and you will most likely break it if it's not already reinforced. Will help in powder as well, transfer is important in the powder. Only problem i ever had with the maxx perf. rods were once in a while they would freeze up because water can get into the threads and seize up, but you can take them apart and put grease on the threads to help prevent that from happening. Or just leave them alone once you find a setting you like, i was adjusting mine all the time
