i want just wondering what is the best kind of spark plugs you can put in a non powervalve 600/700 yamaha triple. they normally take BR9ES, but i have heard they can also take BR9EYA. my friend has a set of BR9HS and was wondering are these spark plugs any good for his yammy 700 triple? please tell me the best type of spak plugs to use in his snowmobile. the yamaha triples are so popular for blowing plugs and he wanst to know whats the best you can have in his triple. his sled is called: 2003 venture 700 triple non powervalved, please let me know!

No on the br9hs. You can run the eya's for less fouling, or get ngk iridioms and be good too. Maxdlx

What about the BR9EV plugs.. They are the same as the ES but they have really thin electrodes and they are harder to foul!!!! As far as plug fouling,,, if your motor fouls plugs,,YOU HAVE OTHER PROBLEMS and the different plugs will not necessilarily cure your problem.. You need to address the plug fouling problem FIRST!!!!! Br8es

Depending on where I'm riding and who is riding the sled, I switch mine out between a br9es (stock) and the br8es. If I have my girlfriend riding my 97 700 sx, I will put in the br8es because it's a hotter plug and the br9es would constantly foul out. Now if I'm on the sled, I'll run the br9es because I am always reving high and working the motor. I have a friend that has always run the br8es and has never had a problem. So to each his own I guess. I think I have about 1500 miles on the br8es set I have. So far so good. I recomend them.
