hey guys, i am new to the board, i've been keeping my eye on it for awhile but just recently got a yamaha sled. (didn't want to start posting when i didn't even have a yamaha). so i bought a slightly wrecked 02 viper. it's a really nice sled and i think i will probably have it done tomorrow, if not tonight. what do you guys think of the viper as far as a wisconsin trail riding sled. i don't think that it has had the shock upgrade bulletin done.

any words of wisdom for a new yamaha owner.
hope to get a lot of riding done this year. going to wisconsin on christmas morning with a couple of my buddies. (family's not too happy)

Welcome raceage
Should be a great sled for Wisconsin trail riding. There is a ton of information on TY for anything you want to know and more.
I would suggest you look for some up-dated shocks and set your skid up as follows: Center shock to the tight end of the range, main shock to loose end of the range, FRA to softest (top hole) position. Learned this on TY from yamaholic, I think, and it works well on three sleds I did it to.

Confused what Mr. Sled's post is about? :dunno:

Yeah not sure what Mr Sled is talkng about. Joe you can take those shocks out to Jerry at JPC and he can soften them up for you.
