I plan to attack the install the same way I did for my XTC w/ a '04 ZR 900 sno pro suspension in it. I measured off the driveshaft a ZR 800 that I had in the shop and then transferred the measurements to the tunnel of the XTC. I remeasured center to center to make sure that was within spec and after that it's just height determination for the holes. W/ the skid on the ground I could measure the difference in height off the floor of the front and rear mount points of the skid. I decided to use the same height as stock on the rear hole, then determined the height of the front hole based off of that.
It took some time and patients measuring, but in the end the result was worth it. Here's some pics.
