Searched through old posts, didnt find a specific setup for a clutch for a 96 Vmax XT???
I am looking for something that performs well on tight trails not too worried about lake speed or drag racing. Want to be able to hammer through the twisties. I am doing the head mod, tempa-flow install if that matters.
I am snowmobile clutch challanged so need a very specific suggestion. I will be doing work myself and not afraid to make tool investment if I can use them on my next sled.

8AB CLUTCH WEIGHTS AND A 45-39 CLUTCH WEIGHTS WORK AWESOME IN THAT SLED.Whoops dam caps button
I did mine a handful of years back, can't remember what I changed and if I changed the rollers or not with the other clutch enhancements. Sorry TAIRBLUE said:Searched through old posts, didnt find a specific setup for a clutch for a 96 Vmax XT???

Thanks Moss/All
I am not sure why that page didnt come up when I searched forum?
Is doing the clutch tuff?
I guess I can just follow the service manual CD I just purchased.
Any advice? Things to watch for - tips not in the service manual.

The primary is under semi high pressure. It would be better if you could pull it off and work on it on the bench, so you can have more leverage with the clutch cover, for removing and installing the spring. T
