putting expert-x suspension in and new 1" track on my viper, what size studs should i use

Studding Advice huh?? Well I've drilled a tack and i can guess its the same tedious work. Go out and grab a couple case's of beer, You will be happy you did! i know i wish i did...

Use some 1.08 Roetins, or 1.075 woodys. 144 should be plenty, especially with the transfer of that skid.

dont go to long as the track will roll under hard breaking on Expert and chew the crap out of the front of the tunnel....happen to me with my X I had on my SX-R
