I am looking at upgrading the suspension on it both front and rear how can i get this?

what shocks will i need and rods and w/e fer the rear i want her to sit really high its only a 500 but i like to be in the air alot
what will i need?

will a 1.25" track fit on the sled as is?

what gearing should i use to get a good rip as well as a good top speed?

will a 4" riser and pivitor fit on it without a cable extension?

what are the bender cans like? are they loud?

where can i get tunnel supports for it?

I just bought the sled and i was wondering what they are like? whats the top spped and power like stock?

i bought it to upgrade it every year, next year i want to put in a 700 tripple and do engine work and maybe after that 136" or 144" extension

also if you have any other tips or info feel free to let me know

and if you have any parts i will need pm me and ill probly buy it

thanks guys

wow... let me save you the trouble. sell it back, and see if MrSled still has his sxr and if so buy that from him. if he sold it...track the guy down who bought it and buy it from him. its probably the best setup sxr i've seen.

Pipes add 23 hp realistically. They claim more but thats all u get & gas mileage gets cut by 1/3 easily. There is about 3 months of reading on here if you do a search on 700 sx,s & 700 sx-r mods. Do search & keep yourself busy reading till may cus your questions have been answered a kazillion times in the past since about 1997.

Gear it down; 8 ab weights;47/41 helix; 8 ab weights & 1" camo 9830 track & clutch it to run at 7800 rpm. Take the main jets down 1 size & lower the needles 1/2.

you can run a 1.25" or even 1.5" track without studs. for top end, stay with a 1.25. figure out out what length of track you want first before buying a new one. get an Expert suspension. it will do what you want, and you can move it to your next sled too.

Custom Sled Shop (link is on the main forums index in preferred vendors section) is in Canada and the cheapest place to buy an Expert that I know of.
You might also be able to score a used Ripsaw or other track there as he is always converting sleds.

if your ever going to long track it. do it NOW! your buying a track anyway. extentions are pretty cheap compared to buying a second track.
