ya, we kinda shy away from that. we just discuss yamaha here. we're not gonna chase down guys on other brands. if he's ignorant and likes what he likes, then so be it. we don't want them commin over here, ya know.
 
do not getting into chest thumping that one brand is better than another on other forums then come back here with them following you for payback. if and when you bring trouble here, your account will be temporarily revoked up to permanent suspension depending on severity per the forum rules. ski
 
Don't let internet and parking lot posers ruin your sleddin’ experience man. Sometimes it helps to look for the humor in their ill-founded confidence. But it is always a good idea to keep it to ourselves.

Someday, somebody on a Yamaha will likely give him a tow without even realizing any bashing that he may have done. That message is the strongest when there aren’t even any words said about it.

Remember that if you are still standing as a manufacturer of snowmobiles, then you are doing a lot more right than you are doing wrong. Especially in the current day, with all the things that are working against sled manufacturers. We are still lucky enough to have 4 manufacturers still building better and better products every year.

They are all good products, with each company being a little better than the other at certain areas. Let's just hope this continues.

This is the only website i have been to where it is brand specific, and there is no ( or very little ) bashing of other brands..I guess it goes to show the high caliber of members here..
 
It's best to just think of it as sleds are sleds we all need to stick together. We might not know each other but we all know why we are out there.

Oddly Ski-doo is the only major brand I have not been on, though my neighbor has 2 and even with the less than ideal performance he has had with them he still likes his 800Rev. My Poo (600 XLT & 500 Indy Classic) and AC (600 Mountian Cat) experiances are all positive.
 
Personally, I wasnt even offended by that. THere a lot worse stuff out there to get mad about, and it actually sounds like the start to a lot of posts from newbies on here, even myself at times.
 
I've had good and bad experiences with all of the makes. The manufacturer's are human just as we ourselves are!

Besides - if they never broke we'd never got to buy new ones!! :)
 
bashing

I have alot of freinds that ride different makes and there is always a little ribbing going on.I don't think much about it because like they say opinions are like #$%&* ,everbody's got one.It's usually in good fun anyways,but ther e is always someone out there doing that type of bashing...actually ruins the whole experience for some,,,too bad we have lost alot of riders do to people like that....sorry I'm done venting.

Although I agree that this site is pretty clean towards other brands...HCS for some reason always has Team Green spewing negative comments over at us blue fellas...
I don't get it...they bash the digital display...then they come out with it and its "da bomb"...4 Strokes come out..and they diss it..and they come out with something comparable..and its "da bomb"...
Personally I like seeing some ribbing goin on at the other sites, its fun..however, not this site ..buut..when they spew out knowledge that they haven't got a clue about...its kinda like "do yer homework", "sit back and observe" or "zip it"...
I've always thought that Yamah guys stand upright...and well...the negative other ones are still draggin their knuckles...

ya this place is the best forum ive found, and i would stick arround nomatter what sled i have, I wasnt tring to start a war, but i just get peed off by people that make there peresonal prefferences seem like facts, and give yamaha's a bad rep, I posted it thinking someone who is knoweldgeable on yamahas would reply comparing there sales, net income ect....

I like the ribbin it makes it fun when your out in the trails and your buddys sled brakes and of course you gotta rub it in well if it where a Yamaha or a ???.
