I recently took a headlight and guage pod from a newer sled with the dual lights and put it on a 97 700SX. After rewiring it I can't get the tach or the gas guage on the new guage to work. (gas Guage and tach are on the same guage.) It lights up, but the needles don't move. Also do I still need the voltage condenser? What makes a tach run? The tach wire is the blue wire and it runs a few different things in the pod. Is it possible that the tach guage is dead? any way to test it?

ya you still need the regulator thingy, i did mine up with the large gauge single light and needed it to run the tach
